[A6] A6 current status...

The Jomox SunSyn is discontinued, SE Omega 8 is too
pricey, Poly Evolver Rack looks interesting, but the
sound samples sound less like what I want to hear than
A6 demos - or those making the Poly Evolver samples
are less interested in exploring it as I would?  Even
so, the Poly Evolver Rack is the only thing I've seen
so far that I would consider in place of an A6 (only 4
voices, but the price is relatively reasonable and
support seems better).  I know I'll end up with a Moog
sometime in the future (probably can't resist when the
Little Phatty goes into a standard edition) but I want
all those A6 16 voices under my control.

Availability of the A6 seems to be currently sketchy. 
There's a used A6 on ebay for $1700 ("buy it now") but
I don't want to buy used.  National Speaker has 2 new
available for $2,999, but I'm disinclined from making
such a large purchase from a company I haven't dealt
with before.  I'll probably swing by my local big
music stores in the next few days to see if they can
track one down.  I have vacation coming up soon and
would like to spend some quality time on music
projects.
