[A6] Question about hacking the A6 OS....

It is pretty obvious at this point that any hope that Alesis/Numark will 
release a bugfix for the OS is pretty much in vain- we have gone around this 
particular block a few times in the past. I don't have any knowledge regarding how 
the Andromeda OS was coded, how it could be updated, etc., etc., so forgive me 
if this is a stupidly naive question, but is it even remotely possible for 
"someone" to hack the OS to perform a few simple (and I mean SIMPLE) fixes? 
Maybe even someone who was involved in the project originally, but is no longer 
with Alesis/Numark?

Personally, I would pay some serious $$$ just to fix the PolyAT response bug- 
it would save me from buying another synth or two. Really.
