[A6] Notice Concerning the Price and Availability of SRAM

Hi all,

The current SRAM cards that the Andromeda uses are being discontinued
and there is a price increase on March 15.

I spoke with Bill at Tima (very nice). My understanding is that the new
cards will not be tested for Andromeda compatibility. They will either
work or they won't. We won't know until the new ones come out and
someone with an Andromeda tests them. That are sending out emails to
people in his database, one email at a time, so if you haven't received
notification and you have ordered cards from them before, you should
get an email. Today when I spoke with Bill, he was there by himself so
if you call or place an order online and don't get an immediate
response that's why. He's a little afraid of a stampede so this post
isn't helping him on that count but since there are deadlines I wanted
let you know.

The ones you want to get are the 2 MB SRAM Card without Attribute
Memory  SN5002-P  currently $61.79

Regards,
Susan
