[A6] Sequencer in mix mode

Forgive me if this is a really basic question. My a6 is just a couple of
days old, and I'm having trouble figuring out one thing. I must be
overlooking something, but I've been looking at the manual, and the tips and
tricks, but I just can't seem to do this.

So - I'm now trying out mix mode. I first created a program in program mode
that uses the sequencer. However, when I call up this program in mix mode on
mix channel one, I cannot seem to activate the sequencer. The sequence is
still there - I can see the 3 lines, but when I hit the start/stop button
nothing happens. How do you actually activate the sequencer in mix mode?
