[A6] MPC1000 and Andromeda

Oh nono you can't use sysex files from different synths with eachother, 
sorry.
It is like trying to load a Windows program on a Macintosh. They just don't 
understand eachother at all. The only way would be if the A6 had a sampler, 
which it does not.

Hey everyone

Anybody out there using an Andromeda with an Akai MPC1000? If so, any tips
on downloading new sounds from the mpc to the A6? The mpc doesn¹t seem to
recognize the .syx files and freezes up when transmitting midi files. By the
way, the files I¹m trying to use were downloaded from
http://www.wohmart.com/a6/synthinfo/.
