[A6] MPC1000 and Andromeda

I have dumped sysex from the A6 to the MPC1000 (save as a sequence),
but I haven't been bold enough to try restoring it to the A6. I am
terrified I'm going to forget my SRAM card before a gig, and I'm
hoping I can just play back the sysex from the MPC1000 CF card. Any
day now, I'm going to try it :=).

BTW, the only way MIDI sync works for any A6 function (seq,
arpeggiator, LFO etc) is if you start your MPC1000 sequence using
PLAY START rather than PLAY. Otherwise the phase is all over the
map. I wish I knew why this was. It is a serious pain. Numark/Akai/
Alesis refuses to respond to any inquiry I make about it.
