There are Schmitt Triggers on the Voice 15 and Voice 16 External Audio input jacks that are scanned and sent to the mod source list ("EXT TRIGGER 1", EXT TRIGGER 2"). Schmitt Triggers are level detectors that fire a trigger whenever the set threshold is detected as having been passed. User Programs 124 and 126 demonstrate this parameter :) Note that it's just a level threshold; you set the level of your source to trigger the envelopes along with the beat. You don't get dynamic depth control, but yes, if you have an envelope follower of your own that you can patch into the FILTER External CV Input, you can also dynamically control the Fc along with the enveloping. I don't remember offhand if the CC Pedal input is resistive or voltage. If it's voltage, it will probably be a 12-bit scan and could then be used as an assignalbe modulation source which would allow you to dynamically control the Filter Envelope's depth...

Holy Shit!!  I sold my custom modded CS-15 which had the ability to have audio input trigger the envelope (both on my old one, that's one of the mods I did) and it was great fun, I've been wishing just this morning that the A6 had envelope followers on the inputs (it would really only take 1 or 3 circuits, since the inputs are only 3) but this is almost as good!

Wow.  Heaven here I come!!

The Andromeda can reverse the polarity of the footswitch input according to the manual, so I think it can work.  The yamaha has some kind of accent function included, and is billed as heavy duty, so it seems to be a winner.  Damn, it has a TRS plug. So is the Alesis F2, which seems odd, but it lets you supply your own cable, so maybe you can use a mono cable. Still seems kinda weak now, as the volume pedal part is just mono.  Yamaha has a Dual expression pedal that allows two input volume control or one volume and one cv following the same pedal.
