[A6] A6 Crashing Cubase

Thanks very much Joan...

I disconnected Midi In cable from the A6 and it remains the same. Press
a few notes on the A6 and everything freezes.

I reconnected Midi In and disconnected Midi Out from the A6, rebooted
Cubase and all is fine, with the A6 receiving and playing Midi from
Cubase alongside the other gear.

I'm stumped, and would deeply appreciate any other ideas yourself or
others might have.

Never used that precise setup, but can you check that you don't have
midi looping going on? Try removing one of the cables to the A6
depending on what you need - otherwise you may be getting echoes that
build up and overwhelm the MIDI bus. Used to run into this a lot in
other studio setups. SOrry that I don't have specifics on how to
diagnose or check for this at hand...
