[A6] A6 Crashing Cubase

I remember this, I found it annoying for other reasons, but in mix mode, hit soft button 5, KBD and there should be an enable button which is default to on, turn that to off for everything but channel 1 or whatever channel you want to transmit on, and then you're good to go.
I hated it because I couldn't just hit the Mix part button and play just that part from the keyboard without going in and disabling the kbd from the previous mix channel and enabling it in next one. I wanted to do stuff with the sequencer with the Andromeda as a stand alone, but I haven't figured out a way to do this without an external sequencer and the A6 set to local off (MIDI). I wish there was a KBD enable 'solo' mode, where they are all enabled but only the selected part will play from the keyboard.
Unless I am missing something?
Peace
Ed

Thanks Jammer, I disabled midi thru on Cubase and it worked fine though I'm unable then to utilise the A6 as the Master Midi keyboard.
I tried also keeping Midi thru enabled but using the midi filter to filter out all info but the Note data. Unfortunately the problem remained the same with Cubase freezing.
Would be great if you remembered how you got round this in the past.
Sincerely
-Ronnie

It might be a good idea to get a separate "midi monitor" program and
run it
without Cubase running, just to see what's coming out of the A6. And
compare
that to your other midi devices. It might point out something obvious.
