I don't see this as at all different from any, "I have this synth, but would like that" consideration. As I've discovered over the years, whether it be analogue, digital or even softsynths: no two instruments sound alike. You will enjoy each one for what it is. I spent a little time with an LP and it's a beautiful instrument. I don't think you'd regret getting it for a moment.

Subject: [A6] Andy & Little Phatty

Hi to everyody, sorry for my "bad english"...

I'm tempted to buy a Moog Little Phatty to put here near my Andromeda... I heard some demos and liked those simple and unique sound...

Someone tried it a bit? I done some convincing Moog sound from the A6, but still not catching that growl I hear when playing a Moog Voyager (a friend of mine has one!). So I was trying a cheap way to get it. I haven't bought the Voyager because the A6 gives a lot more more for the price... a wider palette and a deeper synthesis... it's a fantastic choice and I'm really happy with it... But I have some gear to sell and the Little Phatty seems a nice toy and seems to stay well with the Andy.

What do you think about it?
