I also hoped it would work more like the xpander when you can assign voices to patches, but with the Andromeda it basically comes down to assigning voices to the mono channels, and using the stereo and aux outs for polyphonic mix channels. You only get 4, but how many do you really need?

For each program (channel) in the mix, test it by disabling all the other programs (channels) in the mix. Ensure that each program in the mix will play individually in that manner.> > >> > > 3) Check your MIXVOX settings for each channel in the mix. If you have two monophonic programs set to the same mix voice, for instance, you won't be able to play the two sounds simultaneously because they'll be competing for the same voice. The same applies (more so!) to sequences and arpeggios.> > >> > > I've successfully used multiple simultaneous sequences in mix mode, but it can be a bit tricky to have everything set up correctly to work together (and often very tricky to play if different sequences need to "synch" to each other). MUCH patience is required! And, in general, I've found that trying to use multiple sequences simultaneously in mix mode is one of the best ways to get the A6 to hang/crash (even worse if you're trying to use the sustain pedal on sequences), so keep that issue in mind, too ...> > >> > > Good luck,> > >> > > Doug> > >> > > -----Original Message-----> > > >From: Synthwall Synthwall <synthwall at yahoo.com>> > > >Sent: Nov 18, 2007 11:24 AM> > > >To: a6 at code404.com> > > >Subject: [A6] mix mode> > > >> > > >hello all> > > > i have a problem in the mix mode> > > > if i make layers from sequences and arps from my programs in mix mode> > > > sometimes i haer the seqences and sometimes not, sometimes i haer only the note or the 1 st note> > > > sometimes he try to play the seq but its not really working (but i hear something)> > > > but sometimes it dous work> > > > it looks like he is not always taking the program> > > > its not that i allraedy used all the availeble voices !!> > > > strange someone know what i mean> > > > i have the laters OS> > > > anyway its great to make layers from multiple sequences !!!!!
