[A6] How do you locate the manufactured origin of an A6?

I am in the market for a used one. I have located one purchased about 5 years ago that's in excellent shape. He says it has crashed about 5 different times in the last five years and that he has not updated the OS since he purchased it. It's in excellent condition and I am wondering how he could locate the manufacturing point of origin, is there a strip, a label, a something to identify where Andromeda's were manufactured?
